A family owned and operated business in a rural part of the Central Valley, of Costa Rica, where the air is fresh and the mountains verdant and gently sloped. In 2003 CR~I was started to accommodate the needs of the students and volunteers participating with programs through Amistad Institute (AICR, a Spanish School and Volunteer Agency [of which we are also partners] ) . AICR was started in 2001 and really took off by '05. Now in the beginnings of '09 we have decided to take our constantly growing list of contacts, tours, and knowledge concerning travel in Costa Rica, and turn it into a new, exciting, and more focused entity, to reflect our values and ideas about traveling. So here we are moving forward into this unique sphere of activity.

As a team & company, we have a unique understanding of our little country. A large part of this is due to our U.S. and Costa Rican heritage. The idea is to have the best of both worlds... The attitude of the Latitude, without sacrificing the ability keep things on schedule. We are also firm believers that you needn't sacrifice quality to get a bargain, and the key lay in our expectations of how we want our experiences to unfold. 	Rebeca Bolaños de Demes President One of the founders of AICR. Entrepreneur of 10 years. Chief among her interest are photography, travel and dance. As funny as she smart, Rebeca is involved in almost any given aspect of this enterprise.
	Robert Demes II Vice President / Executive Chef When not looking for a 7-11 or Krispy Kreme stateside. He can be found dabbling in real estate, or just contemplating it. Web design and executive chef.
	Alexander "Cubi" Cubillo Travel Adviser With 10 years of customer service in one of CR's premier international Companies, bringing with him almost one decade of customer service and retail management, Alex's attention to detail and exacting eye ensures our clients' experience is the best! Alex is now a proud part of the CRI team. Not only that he's our cousin but also an all around great guy. In his personal and private time Alex likes to travel, mountain biking, likes dancing; and he is really into Movies.
