Arenal Volcano is one of the ten most active volcanoes in the world, a fascinating natural wonder and must visit destination. On an almost daily basis, red-hot rocks crash down its steep slopes and volcanic rumbles produce huge ash columns above the crater. One great benefits of having a volcano nearby is the natural geothermal heat that warms groundwater and creates natural hot springs. The hot springs are an ideal way to relax after a day full of adventure, and with us you will have several options to choose from.
At 8:00 transfer to La Fortuna, at the bottom of the always active Arenal Volcano. Accommodation at the chosen hotel, and in the afternoon guided excursion to the Volcano and to the chosen Hot Springs (dinner included).
After breakfast, at 7:30 a guided excursion to Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge. In the case of this tour, getting there is half the fun. There are literally thousands of birds, plants, fish, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians.
