Usually family managed and with a small number of rooms which makes them more quiet and charming. Rooms offer private bathroom and basic equipment, some of them with safe box and mini bar. Common areas like breakfast room, bar and lobby are available. B&B/Inns usually enhance the experience of local culture. You may not expect facilities like room service, gym, restaurant, business center, pool, etc.

Hotel 3* / 4* / 5*

Categories based on international standards. Many of these hotels are part of local or international chains occupying apartment blocks or big buildings. Single, double and triple fully equipped rooms are available offering private bathroom. Many of this hotels offer the following facilities: bar, restaurant, room service, bell boy service, concierge, gym, pool, business centre, meeting rooms, amenities, among others. They differ from each other in the price and quality of facilities, services, decoration and location.

Boutique Hotel

Boutique or thematic hotels differentiate themselves by providing an exceptional and personalized level of accommodation, services and facilities. There are different categories within this segment offering a wide range of prices and styles.

Hostel

Budget style of accommodation offering basic rooms with shared or private bathroom. Rooms can be single, double, triple or Dormitories of 4 to 8 beds. Common areas like kitchen, playroom and TV room are available. This type of accommodation is frequented by students, backpackers and independent travelers. Atmosphere is friendly and informal.
