Many people prefer the wet (green) season because of the verdant look to things (May-Nov). This results in a nice benefit in terms of prices as this is the low season. Any time is a good time to visit here.
Juan Santa Maria (SJO) the Capitals airport contrary to popular belief is in Alajuela, but just 15 min from Chepe (San Jose). Trivia: the first Jurrasic park would have us believe (SJO) is on the pacific coast just off the beach... :|
