Weather

Guanacaste (N. Pacific) is dry most of the year being Greener from May thru November. The "Gold Coast" as they call it.

The weather pattern: Dry Dec-Apr, Green May-Nov

When to come?

Many people prefer the wet (green) season because of the verdant look to things (May-Nov). This results in a nice benefit in terms of prices as this is the low season. This region is quite a bit drier than the rest of Costa Rica though. Any time is a good time to visit here.

How long?

As all of Costa Rica's regional zones the diversity is extreme and only so much can be seen. So picking and choosing your goals will help make the most of an itinerary, These factors make trip lengths variable.

How to get there?

This zone has a beautiful International airport, so one can fly right in. It is about 4hrs from the capital, and 40 min flying.

Activities
